The new Bradt travel guide to Uruguay |

This new guide was published in June and launched on 19th July at Stanfords, the Covent Garden bookshop.The launch was in conjunction with the Uruguayan Embassy and was attended by travel operators and airlines. The Uruguayan ambassador, H.E. Julio Moreira Morán, gave an interesting presentation on tourism in Uruguay and the author of the guide, Tim Burford, talked animatedly about his experiences whilst researching his book in Uruguay. After the presentation Uruguayan canapés and wines were served while tango music was played.
